Wide hallways with built-in bookshelves or nichos are one of Iliff Construction's classic designs.

Utilizing otherwise wasted wall space for display or library purposes and adding a skylight over the area or spotlights makes hallways inviting and interesting. When designing the nichos, small down lights are used above to illuminate just the articles in the nicho, making a dramatic and practical way of lighting the space.

In entry ways, shelving is also used to display the owner's collections. Guests to the home are presented with the owners' personal collection of art, ceramics or antiques. It adds a welcoming touch to a custom home.
